I received a copy of the latest issue of the Chinese Journal of Integrative Medicine, Volume 17, Number 11, November, 2011 today.

I was very excited when I was asked to submit an article for this edition as syndrome differentiation/pattern identification (PI) is a subject that I find extremely interesting – but difficult.

The purpose of my correspondence is just to let you know how much I enjoyed reading your article.  I have already sent an email to one of my colleagues who teaches PI (A/Prof Christopher Zaslawski) recommending that he too should read your excellent paper.
